Lai administration proposes TWD 31.1 billion ($1B) sovereign AI budget for 2026 (pending Legislative Yuan). Part of '10 new AI infrastructure initiatives' targeting silicon photonics, quantum computing, AI-enabled robotics. Visionbay.ai (Foxconn's supercomputing/cloud-AI unit) launches Taiwan's first sovereign AI supercomputing center using Nvidia GB300 NVL72 platform. 27 MW capacity powered by ~10,000 Blackwell GB300 chips (144 GB300 platforms).
